• yuzu, who is yuuichirou (but only sometimes) is THE EMPEROR OF THE NEEDLEMOON.  the emperor sends his hunting dogs on the nights that the moon is just a needle-sliver in the sky! which is another way to say he rules a parallel kyoto through his dominating yakuza syndicate.
• haruichi is just some guy. who cries more than your average guy. bit of a crybaby but mostly Just Some Guy. who really, really likes yuzu-sama.
